MOREL x Constance Guisset

A Poetic Collaboration at Silmo Paris 2025

At Silmo Paris 2025, one collaboration stood out in the crowded halls: the union of MOREL, the French eyewear house with roots dating back to 1880, and Constance Guisset, a designer celebrated for her poetic, dreamlike universe.

Together they presented a capsule collection that captivated visitors with its delicate balance of ergonomic expertise, refined craftsmanship, and artistic imagination.

MOREL eyewear collaboration 2025

From the very beginning, the collaboration was built on openness and trust. Constance sketched freely, translating her world of movement and softness into eyewear, while MOREL offered its mastery in ergonomics and production. The result is a feminine capsule collection that sits seamlessly alongside MOREL’s core line and masculine collaborations, completing the brand’s vision with a refreshing new perspective.

Silmo Paris 2025 eyewear highlights

The capsule introduces three models in both optical and sun, each infused with poetry, softness, and roundness. Their names—Virgule, Esperluette, and Parenthèse—echo the world of typography and writing, while their shapes, sometimes round, sometimes square, are carefully designed to flatter different face types. What unites them is the designers’ shared intention: to craft not only beautiful eyewear but also delicate, comfortable accessories that feel personal to the wearer.

A subtle play of lines defines the collection. Inspired by calligraphy, so central to Constance’s creative language, the frames feature strokes and curves that flow rhythmically along the temples. Each design finishes in a circular punctuation mark, turning a detail into a poetic signature.

Light, color, and a touch of fantasy

Color plays a defining role in the capsule. A bold lower line in gradient or tricolor hues contrasts with the more subtle transparent tone of the upper rim, creating depth and harmony in a refined balance. The sunglasses extend this language further—still delicate, yet just daring enough to add an element of fantasy.

This collaboration proves how a heritage eyewear manufacturer and a contemporary designer can enrich one another’s universes. With MOREL’s savoir-faire and Constance Guisset’s poetic imagination, the capsule becomes more than a seasonal highlight, it is a study in how eyewear can feel timeless, personal, and artistic all at once.
