Hall of Frames // Swiss Icons and Global Vision Meet in Lucerne

Hall of Frames 2025

When the Swiss Museum of Transport opens its doors on Sunday, September 14, 2025, it won’t just be welcoming visitors—it will be celebrating vision.

The Hall of Frames, Switzerland’s premiere tabletop fair for independent eyewear, is back for another round, with more than 40 national and international brands already confirmed. Among them are household names like Ørgreen, ROLF, MOSCOT NYC, and Paul & Joe, alongside local darlings such as Einstoffen and NIRVAN JAVAN.

But it’s not just the familiar that makes HOF a standout. Fresh energy comes from bold newcomers and niche innovators, including Pontet Eyewear from France—a rising name to watch. Whether your taste leans toward sustainable design, technical ingenuity, or colorful eccentricity, this year’s lineup reflects the full diversity of contemporary independent eyewear.

A Celebration of Independent Spirit

Founded by Nathanaël Wenger, Hall of Frames has become far more than just another tradeshow. What began over a decade ago as a gathering of like-minded designers has evolved into a cornerstone of the Swiss optical calendar, offering a platform where established names and rising talents share the same table—literally.

From luxury horn collections by Wollenweber Hornlinie to the precision craftsmanship of Marcus Marienfeld, HOF continues to spotlight the best of high-end artistry. And thanks to the welcoming, familiar atmosphere, opticians, designers, and industry insiders can connect on a personal level, without the noise and pressure of larger expos.

Hall of Frames 2025 will again be a statement for independent opticians. The strong response this year proves that our industry is alive with creativity and hungry for new ideas.”

The Perfect Stage for Hall of Frames 2025 //

Museum of Transport, Lucerne

Why Lucerne? And why the Museum of Transport? Quite simply: it works. Centrally located, inspiring in its architecture, and praised by past participants, the venue sets a tone of innovation and movement—perfect for an event that’s all about shaping the future of eyewear. Its open, light-filled spaces and interactive atmosphere encourage exploration and dialogue, while the surrounding alpine landscape offers a uniquely Swiss backdrop that blends tradition with forward-thinking design.

Nikon once again joins as main partner, with support from Dynoptic, Beck Optikhandel, Studio Arenas, and Contedi, whose expertise adds vital depth to the event and reflects the strength of collaboration within the optical industry.

HOF offers a comprehensive insight into current trends and innovations in the industry and serves as an important meeting point for professionals in the Swiss eyewear market

"We are delighted to continue our collaboration with our main partner Nikon. Our long-standing partners Dynoptic - an association of around one hundred independent opticians from all over Switzerland - and the architecture firm Studio Arenas also play an important role in the realisation of the Hall of Frames."
