Relaxed and informal
One of the main reasons for the Hall of Frames’ long-standing success is its clear focus on independent eyewear designers from all over Europe. But also the relaxed and informal setting is an important factor. In a laid-back atmosphere, you can get an overview of some of the leading labels but also discover new brands.
Zurich Convention Center
After four years of total renovation, the Hall of Frames is one of the first events to be held at the Zurich Convention Centre. The venue will take place in the new garden hall wing, facing the lake. In particular, the panoramic restaurant and the unforgettable view of the lake and the Swiss mountains from the spacious new terrace are well worth mentioning.
As the Hall of Frames, the Zurich Convention Centre pursues a sustainable climate strategy, following the principle of «avoiding unnecessary emissions and offsetting unavoidable emissions».
Partners
For the second time, Reize Optik – presenting the brand Nikon – is the main partner of the Hall of Frames. Nikon is a pioneer of spectacle lens technology, as well as materials and their finishes. The Japanese brand is known for its technical know-how and power of innovation in optical designs.
Also returning as partners to this year’s Hall of Frames are Dynoptic, an alliance of around 100 owner-operated opticians from all over Switzerland, and Studio Arenas. Architect Martha Arenas from Basel and her team create creative environments and set the scene not only for products but also for entire rooms.
