Woodys celebrates a decade of uniqueness
Limited edition sunglasses, a party in Paris and much more to commemorate the 10th anniversary
This year Woodys is celebrating a decade full of challenges, changes, transformation, success and above all fellowship.
As Josep Dosta, founder and CEO, says: “Woodys is not just a brand, it’s a story created by a big family”.
It all started in 2013 when Josep was practicing his favourite sport: wake surfing. One day whilst training, as often happened, he dropped his goggles in the water and had an idea: to create a pair of floating sunglasses. He began investigating until he discovered that the key was in the sheets covering the wakeboard.
Woodys was born right there. They started with wooden glasses and explored new territories and materials, evolving the brand and the product to what they are now: a globally recognised style and fashion reference.
To commemorate this anniversary Woodys has relaunched two of its most iconic models:
BEE and PANOS. BEE is a combined women’s eyewear model and one of the brand’s signature structures; PANOS was a best-seller in men’s sunglasses, with an original wooden frame redesigned with high quality Italian acetate. Two originals returning to the light, with the same structure but with new colours, more Woodys than ever.
But that’s not all as this month they are launching a very special limited edition: ICON X, highly innovative combination sunglasses. Meticulously designed to perfectly reflect the essence of Woodys: colour, quality, design, and uniqueness.
