Made in Italy
Lorico
One of the most surprising and most innovative brands that are “Made in Italy” is surely the Italian eyewear brand Lorico, which blends the unparalleled mastery of Venetian eyewear artisans with an attitude toward creating novelty.
This new brand is inspired by an iconic shield of the Ancient Romans. A symbol of their innovative spirit, the Lorica combined custom metal elements into an extraordinarily resistant yet light armour.
Born from the adaptation of futuristic design techniques devised in Milano into the world of unparalleled expertise of Venetian eyewear artisans, Lorico debuts with its first collection “Nero”.
As a new Italian luxury eyewear brand, Lorico (Latin for Armour) is inspired by the greatness of the ancient Roman era, aiming to elevate aesthetic symmetry and mechanical precision with revolutionary architectural principles.

Their design reflects the convergence between past and present, where mechanical rigor meets the highest level of craftsmanship.
The frame system of interlocked components allows them to produce elements independently, to the highest of quality but requires unique savoir-faire to exist.
This modular structure has also encouraged Lorico’s synergy with other sectors, implementing industry-specific materials and techniques into eyewear production.
Their debut models, Nerone and Seneca, rose from the world of mechanical engineering, producing custom components for a highly complex mechanism inspired by the precision and high-skill requirements of the watchmaking industry.
