Lunor // New Shades and Shapes

New year, new shades – the beginning of a new year is the perfect moment to dare a new start with fresh color ideas. So Lunor makes a many-faceted start into the year 2022: The extended colorations of the most popular lines are an homage to the Black-Forest home of the spectacles manufacture; they reflect the timeless splendor of the 1920s and translate the shades of the night into expressive metal frames. Optimized shapes add even more variety to existing collections.

Flecked retro shades:

The vintage line A12 is extended by a beige and a grey shade

Characterized by the glorious era of the Roaring Twenties, Lunor launched the acetate collection A12 last year. These vintage models are inspired by the up-and-coming Hollywood of the 1920s and characterized by expertly designed frames. This line is extended by two flecked shades now. A dark grey and a natural beige are reminiscent of the fashion back in the day: Tweed suits, trench coats and shirtwaists were in vogue back then, and have been down to the present day. Lunor uses this sense of style in altogether three frame shapes that The Great Gatsby and the like could also have worn. The models A12 500, A12 501, and A12 507 are completed with the shades grey mélange and beige mélange now.

Modern and striking:

Modern and striking: Big shapes extend the A11 line

Those who are looking for a future-oriented and expressive look are right on target with the A11. This young acetate line is not only, figuratively speaking, having its finger on the pulse of the time; it also relies on extra big glass shapes – combined with fine classic lines and narrow temples. Matching the new season, Lunor launches three new shapes now that are striking and modern with their deep glasses. A panto shape, an octagonal and an anatomic shape round off the portfolio skillfully now! Being equipped with the characteristic double rivet hinge, the new shapes also convince in the colors dark havana, havana spotted, vintage blue matte, and vintage grey matte with the tried and tested Lunor quality “made in Germany”.

The M9 01 in the shades of the night

Navy blue, copper brown and black matte complete the popular metal line

When darkness settles over landscapes and cities, the world appears in stunning facets. Lunor has taken this as an example now when reissuing its timeless design frame M9 01 in three dark colors. Navy blue, copper brown, and black with satin finish make the eye area glow. The metal frame with its panatomic shape takes a back seat with its fine shape without giving up the wow effect.

About Lunor:

Lunor AG is appreciated by spectacles aficionados as a manufacturer of quality. In this, understatement not only characterizes the design of the brand but is also the unspoken mission statement of the company. As a highly specialized glasses manufacturer with an extensive range, Lunor has been producing German-made vintage glasses for over 25 years, gaining international appreciation in the process.

Stars such as Daniel Craig, Johnny Depp, Meg Ryan and Uma Thurman have all been seen in their Lunor glasses. Apple founder Steve Jobs was also a big fan of the German premium brand. The rimless glasses that he wore without fail for 14 years originated with Lunor, advancing from a niche model to achieve cult status.

The collection also includes antique-looking metal rims, titanium frames, sunglasses and a broad range of acetate frames in retro design. The creation of each frame requires up to 200 individual steps. This attention to detail is appreciated worldwide. Markets with the strongest sales include the US, South Korea, France and Japan.
