Click and Match // The clip-on collection by Lunor

Starting with the first warming sunny days, many people cannot do without a certain accessory anymore: Sunglasses. Instead of short-lived trends, the Black-Forest spectacles manufacture relies on refinement and stylistically confident design: The Lunor clip-on made of high-quality stainless steel.

With one flick of the wrist, a corrective frame becomes sunglasses that survive the zeitgeist and defy fast fashion. The filigree clip-on models are elaborately handmade in Germany. This way, a perfect complement to a Lunor corrective frame is produced with a love for detail; and a connection made for eternity.

Fine design for every style

Filigree, elegant, and perfectly shaped – the Lunor clip-on is the ideal companion for sunny days. The reduced design of the clip-on convinces not only by its precise elaborateness but also by its aesthetics and practicality. The frame of the clip-on made of stainless steel elegantly adapts to the Lunor corrective frame and can be affixed in an uncomplicated way with a single click. It is not even necessary to remove the spectacles. Thanks to 100% UV protection (UV 400) and anti-glare of category three, eyes are perfectly protected against sunlight, too.

Already since the formation of Lunor – more than 30 years ago – sustainability and traditional spectacle craftsmanship have played a special role. Therefore, the clip-ons are handmade in Germany – fair and resource-efficient. This is what makes each frame unique. The clip-on is available for eight different models of the acetate lines A5 and A6, each in the colors Antique Gold with brown tinted glasses, or Antique Silver with green tinted glasses.

About Lunor

Lunor AG is appreciated by spectacles aficionados as a manufacturer of quality. In this, understatement not only characterizes the design of the brand but is also the unspoken mission statement of the company. As a highly specialized glasses manufacturer with an extensive range, Lunor has been producing German-made vintage glasses for over 25 years, gaining international appreciation in the process.

Stars such as Daniel Craig, Johnny Depp, Meg Ryan, and Uma Thurman have all been seen in their Lunor glasses. Apple founder Steve Jobs was also a big fan of the German premium brand. The rimless glasses that he wore without fail for 14 years originated with Lunor, advancing from a niche model to achieve cult status.

The collection also includes antique-looking metal rims, titanium frames, sunglasses, and a broad range of acetate frames in retro design. The creation of each frame requires up to 200 individual steps. This attention to detail is appreciated worldwide. Markets with the strongest sales include the US, South Korea, France, and Japan.

Lunor attaches great importance to sustainability and regionality; and since 2018, is certified as the first climate-neutral company in the spectacles industry. Another milestone followed in the same year: The Lunor Manufaktur Gesellschaft, LUMAG for short, was founded. Sustainably and fair, the stainless-steel Lunor models Classic and M5 are precisely developed and hand-made at their own manufacturer in Kämpfelbach, Baden-Württemberg, Germany.
