Not only does this collection provide realistic vintage design with modern day traits like common screws and nose pads but it has also proven to provide versatile fashion that appeals to a wide group of wearers.
“I think our Vintage Collection works because we really try to play it straight. The styles are pure and authentic. A lot of similar collections pay tribute to history and offer ‘updated’ or ‘modern’ versions of classic styles. We do our best to stay true to the originals.”
Before I get into the collection I want to make sure I bring up the goodness of the company itself, Europa Eyewear. Founded in 1977 just outside of Chicago, Europa has evolved from a regional distributor in the Midwest, to an international corporation selling across the United States and in more than 20 countries worldwide. A simple business philosophy of providing customers with quality products, fair prices, and unbeatable service has propelled Europa’s ongoing success. Today, Europa has expanded that original philosophy to include a customer driven approach which focuses on satisfying the needs of every optical retailer. They hire exceptional employees who represent their products across the globe, I’ve even had my rep write and article for me on what a retailer should expect from a frame rep.
There are definitely a few pieces in the collection that I sell repeatedly but it’s such a wide variety of a collection that there is something special for any gender or age.
One of my favorites, in my favorite color, the VIN-42. Look at the detail on the bridge!
Another favorite, the VIN-17. There aren’t a ton of saddle bridges on the market and this one fits the niche market perfectly.
You can see the Scott Harris Vintage collection is fairly good sized and covers the market well. It’s so nice to be able to sell a great quality frame with exquisite detail and design from a company with values and standards that are held as such as Europa Eyewear.
