Etnia Barcelona launches the limited edition capsule America’s Cup x Etnia Barcelona.

This new sun collection reflects the Mediterranean spirit of the city, also present in Etnia Barcelona’s DNA, in celebration of the world’s most important sailing competition, which is being held for the first time in the City of Barcelona this year.

The collection, consisting of 8 unique models each available in two colors, is inspired by the nautical universe: the geometric shapes of sailboats, the navy blue and white colors, and the America’s Cup logo on the temple tip are just some of the nods to the competition.

The 8 models, which combine lightweight metal frames with natural acetate frames, evoke the essence of the Mediterranean Sea and Barcelona, the source of inspiration for the capsule and the host of the 37th edition of the America’s Cup.

Latest Innovation in HD Polarized Mineral Lenses

America’s Cup x Etnia Barcelona also offers the latest technology for an unparalleled visual experience. All models have been designed with mineral lenses and HD technology, an innovative filter that provides maximum clarity, sharpness, and visual comfort.

The lens incorporates a polarized filter, which blocks glare and reflections from the sea, as well as an IR filter to block the sun’s infrared rays. Additionally, the lens color is blue, which is optimal for sports activities.

These lenses also feature advanced treatments that enhance their resistance and durability: they are anti-reflective, repel water from the surface, are easy to clean from dirt and fingerprints, and are scratch-resistant.

To introduce this new capsule, Etnia Barcelona has created a very special editorial featuring the model Marta Aguilar, who is also closely connected to Barcelona, along with influencers and models Jorge Román and Patricio Mundet.
