BOLD XXL, an extra large and complete fair that you want to visit!
BOLD XXL is working hard behind the scenes to organize a beautiful and large complete fair for all opticians from the Netherlands. Opticians from Belgium and Germany also found Bold last January and are of course also very welcome at the upcoming BOLD XXL edition. From the beginning of April, many suppliers have already registered to be there for the upcoming September edition. At this time, 350 brands will be present but new suppliers are requesting to participate every week.
Bold XXL means Unity!
After the successful earlier edition of Bold Optical Fair at the end of January, we are already looking forward to the upcoming extra-large BOLD XXL edition in September. All major parties from the Dutch Optics united in Stichting Optiek Events: purchasing associations Centrop and Optitrade Retailgroep, the joint glass suppliers united in the NAB, as well as the contact lens suppliers NAC and the larger frame suppliers NAM have joined Bold.
This new collaboration provides a significant boost to the Dutch stock exchange, giving it an increasingly international touch. The new industrial location in Utrecht is easily accessible due to its central location and the city of Utrecht is certainly also worth a visit. Partly because of this, the feedback was very positive and it is expected that it will attract even more opticians in September.
In order to create as much space as possible for the suppliers who are still registering and to make the offer even more interesting for visitors, the organization is busy expanding on the site. From the large exhibition hall you can walk straight into the Lounge tent for the upcoming BOLD XXL edition, where various suppliers will be present in a casual and relaxed atmosphere.
A special BOLD App will also allow visiting opticians to see in advance which suppliers will be present. Here, you will find practical information on parking, participating brands, presentations, food and drinks and more. It is also possible to compile a favourites list of the brands in advance to plan your visit as efficiently as possible.
Put the date in your agenda and visit BOLD XXL for a relaxed, inspiring and above all fun day. A nice kick-off for the Q3/Q4 sales season. Also nice to visit with your team to gain new energy and insights. It will certainly be worth it and perhaps you can end the day in the pleasant city center of Utrecht or on one of the terraces on the Utrecht canals.

BOLD XXL will take place on 10 & 11 September 2023 in the Werkspoorkathedraal in Utrecht and will be ‘the place to be’ for the Dutch Optical market, where opticians and suppliers can come together.
