Haffmans und Neumeister – Phantom

Amy is wearing the “Phantom” by Haffmans und Neumeister. A sporty early 20th-century mountain climber style frame, stripped down to its purist form. It is a design that was later repurposed in the mid-90s among the cyber-goth community. Round with flat and straight double bridge, this wire-frame silhouette features a subtractive design concept. The focus of Philipp Haffmans remains solely on the raw material.

The LINE collection

Haffmans & Neumeister’s LINE collection, is a methodically curated tour through the timeline of eyewear’s historical icons. By selecting the quintessential form of each style’s respective era and subjecting it to a dogmatic design process, they create surprising, reduced sheet-metal silhouettes. Unadulterated form is achieved with ultra-minimal bare-metal models.

The new hinge design, an elegant and integrated execution, speaks to this ethos, highlighting the beauty of its technological solution.
