Tarrence Lackran to Join Luxury Optical Holdings as VP, Community Relations – Diversity & Inclusion

Luxury Optical Holdings (LOH) has hired Tarrence Lackran for a newly created position, VP, Community Relations – Diversity & Inclusion. In his new role, Tarrence will focus his attention on championing and implementing initiatives that promote diversity and inclusion at LOH through recruiting, collaboration, product design, and strategic partnerships

Tarrence is recognized as a leading ambassador of independent eyewear design, brands and retailers, using his Instagram account (@theopticalpoet) as a platform to connect and unify the industry by building relationships with all sectors.

Prior to joining LOH, Tarrence worked at The Vision Council as the Director of Partnerships and Programming, specifically focusing on Vision Expo East & West. During his time at The Vision Council, he led their Industry Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Task Force. He also launched Opening Your Eyes: The Vision Council Scholarship Fund, a program designed to support high school students and recent graduates from underrepresented communities by exposing them to career paths in the optical industry through scholarships, internships, and mentorships. Tarrence will continue to provide volunteer support for these programs while at LOH.
