Bold Optical Fair // Counting on you! -

We read about ‘Support your local retailer’ on various manifestations in villages and cities. Very important, because retailers deserve that support after such a crazy quiet period, caused by a pandemic that nobody saw coming. The same applies to their suppliers. After all, we desperately need each other.

So let’s help each other out and visit the optics fairs that are organised for you and your suppliers.

Opticians have been able to take the necessary measures and are overjoyed that the shop is busier again, the diaries are full again for eye measurements and (many) glasses are sold again. Also in daily life every company does its best to receive its customers and / or provide services and thus create turnover again.

We have to take our responsibility to keep everything as safe as possible and with that health comes first.

Also at Bold, health of body and mind but also the health of your company and that of our suppliers. As mentioned earlier by all trade magazines, Bold hopes to make a contribution to this and to organise another great trade fair. Many suppliers will show their new collections in Nijkerk (The Netherlands) on 13 and 14 September 2020.

Bold will be organized according to the guidelines of the RIVM (Dutch National Institute of Public Health and the Environment) so that you can safely view and purchase the latest collections. July 23rd we received the message that Silmo unfortunately will not take place this year. Reason; through an official decree issued by the French government it has been decided that more than 5000 visitors per exhibition day is not allowed in exhibition halls because of the increased risks as a result.

So it could just be that the Dutch optics fairs (Bold and HoF) are the only optics fairs you can visit this year. Don’t miss it!
