In 2020 VANNI reaches an important milestone. When a birthday reaches double figures it’s always an important milestone. This year VANNI celebrates 10 years of creativity and innovation in its bid to become a flagship in the international eyewear community. 2010 saw the birth of our first exclusive acetate blocks. Today, 10 years and 7 blocks later, in more than 100 different colours, we can claim with pride that our choice was visionary, adding value to our collections and bringing us recognition and rewards and building our brand and reputation.
To create our renowned acetates we never stop doing research: creativity requires constant and meticulous study. We follow catwalk shows, design events, new happenings in art and music, seeking out any relevant contemporary stimulus to grab our attention and create the latest “finger-on-pulse” VANNI collections, in line with the brand identity. The design starts big but is then developed and reduced and magnified, then technically translated into the final product.
The latest VANNI exclusive acetate is MACRO, reproducing a macro vision by photographing its structure and creating different colour combinations to emphasize its alchemy. Tightly webbed irregular shapes, in contrasting original colours in simple or more vivid tones: featuring for this season soothing mint green, a delicate rose pink, a Caribbean turquoise and a mellow amber.
