Silmo 2025 Preview of
Next-Gen Eyewear Platform

Design it. Visualize it. Print it. Wear it. That’s the promise TPI is bringing to Silmo Paris 2025 as the pioneer of on-demand 3D printed eyewear unveils its most ambitious step yet: the TPI Design Gallery, a fully web-based platform that redefines how collections come to life.

Total creative freedom, no CAD required

At the heart of this launch is the TPI Design Gallery, a streamlined 3D design environment that puts power directly into the hands of brands, retailers, and designers. With customizable shapes, textures, and materials available at a click, the platform eliminates the need for CAD expertise. Once a frame is born, it can be experienced instantly through virtual try-on with full pupillary distance adjustment, ensuring proportion, fit, and style accuracy across all face shapes.

“We’re giving creators total control, from part selection to presentation, all without needing a warehouse or mold.”

Peter Friedfeld

VP of Business Development, TPI

On-demand, metal temple solution, no stock, no waste. Made in collaboration with Liq Eyewear.

At Silmo 2025, TPI will showcase its latest innovations in 3D printed eyewear, offering brands and designers a firsthand look at the creative potential of modular, on-demand manufacturing.

And to accelerate the path from concept to campaign, TPI introduces its AI Photoshoot Generator, a tool that instantly produces brand-ready lifestyle visuals without the need for physical prototypes, models, or studio setups.

By generating consistent, high-quality imagery, it allows designers and brands to present entire campaigns while their frames are still in the design phase.

This breakthrough means eyewear projects can be marketed globally before the first frame has even been printed, giving companies a faster route to market, greater creative freedom, and the ability to test collections with retailers and consumers in real time.

Smart temples for the connected age

TPI is also pushing boundaries with modular smart temple integration. Designed for seamless connectivity, these temples combine world-class electronics with fully customizable frame fronts. The result is open-ear audio with a premium listening experience—like high-end earbuds, but delivered through eyewear. For brands, it opens the door to connected collections without sacrificing style or comfort.

Manufacturing without compromise

The entire system is powered by HP’s Multi Jet Fusion technology, producing parts on demand in both mono- and full-color. From fronts and hinges to nose pads and temples—whether metal or 3D printed—everything is drawn from TPI’s growing parts library. The outcome: no molds, no inventory, no waste.

Silmo visitors will also discover collection spotlights, limited-edition releases, and private label projects created with the platform. Collaborations include EveryWear, Riccardo Cervio, Jos Baijens, Liq Eyewear, RAYDIANT, and Monarc Optic, showcasing the boundless creativity additive manufacturing can unleash.

A new era for eyewear design

The TPI Design Gallery combines design, visualization, and on-demand production into one seamless ecosystem. With facilities in both Europe and the United States, TPI is building an environment that lets creators design, test, market, and sell eyewear faster, smarter, and more sustainably. Whether developing a single personalized frame, launching a collection, or venturing into smart wearables, TPI makes the process simpler, quicker, and infinitely more exciting.
