Blackfin // New Aura FW21-22 Collection

Beta-titanium optical frames brightened by rims derived from a colorful nylon lens ‒ enter the Blackfin New Aura styles for Fall/Winter 2021-22. Transformed, the new Aura frames are thinner and combine the two technical materials in a functional design that ensures greater stability and simplicity in pressure-mounting the lenses.

The concept of cross-fertilization informs the new Blackfin Aura frames in which the elements merge naturally to produce the perfect techno-glamour balance of elegance, light, and color. McDowell has a slightly squared panto shape, while Yates has softer, more rounded lines. The gradient nylon rims seem to blend seamlessly with the titanium ‒ available in a palette of tones from shades of green and blue to silver grey and black gold in the former; and bordeaux red, vibrant blue, brown and amber-gold in the latter.

All of the styles in the Blackfin Aura line are hypoallergenic, 100% bio-compatible, nickel-free and come with tilting nose pads in medical-grade PVC and adjustable, ergonomically designed Swordfish temple tips.

About Blackfin Eyewear

BLACKFIN is a traditional Italian designer eyewear brand. It’s well respected in the independent eyewear industry because it concentrates on a prestigious and interesting niche: Titanium eyewear. For BLACKFIN, this is not just another random material but part of an entire belief system. The products from BLACKFIN are all made in Italy and crafted to the highest quality levels. They are highly valued by opticians because they are precisely manufactured based on expert craftsmanship.

Of course every single pair of glasses and sunglasses is perfectly executed. The brand has put its entire focus on titanium as a material and produces all frames in Italy. Because of this unique approach, the brand has coined the term #neomadeinitaly, which works as the main claim and also the key to understanding BLACKFIN. Read more about this great Italian brand on TEF Magazine or visit their website.
