Ingeniously simple in every detail
Whether Red Dot, German Design Award or Silmo d’Or – since its founding in 1999, the company has been awarded more than 40 times for both design and technical features. Recently, the “100% made in Germany” brand received the German Design Award 2020, the iF Design Award 2020 and the Red Dot Award: Product Design 2020 for their rimless collection EASE. Their unconventional ways of thinking and working led them to the successful construction of screwless hinges which was followed by a patenting. Today, these little parts make the Markus T collections as unique as they are.
They only employ selected materials such as the synthetic material TMi and titanium for which they have developed their own patented alloying and dyeing processes. This makes construction materials extremely resistant and flexible. It allows the brand to develop minimalist frames and parts for their glasses and to always seek new ways of paring design to the essence – the beautiful.

DESIGN Classic and DESIGN Neo
These collections pursue the idea of the very first eyewear collection my MARKUS T: to fabricate glasses from just one single strand of titan wire. Its ultralight design and its technical refinement have been, inter alia, awarded with iF Award and Red Dot Award for product design. ME PUR, ME EGO & ME GENIUS
A purist design vocabulary, a great variety of colours and a precise interplay of both materials, TMi and titanium make ME PUR and ME EGO unique. The individuality of each model is visually highlighted by the specially coloured, translucent light synthetic which functionally blends perfect with the titanium temples. The ME GENIUS collection interprets forms with its titanium front pieces which in turn form a symbiosis with TMi temples via a screwless plug connection. ME collections represent self-confident individuality in both form and colour.

TITAN TERRA & TITAN AURA
Design studies on the epitome of lightness: titanium. This material always receives its own, distinctive look with special processes by MARKUS T which achieve permanently matte and coloured surfaces. TERRA shows expressive forms, AURA conveys a more delicate look.

DOT MONO
Design reduced to the essentials. Ultra-thin titanium sets the scene, an innovation forms the technical connection. The screwless plug-in hinge with horizontally aligned temples is the prominent and characteristic feature of this delicate collection. MARKUS T brings the most
precise technology and minimalist design in perfect accordance in the smallest of spaces and proves that one can always think ahead when it comes to eyewear.

EASE
The first rimless eyewear collection by MARKUS T combines zeitgeist and lifestyle. Here, less is more. A specific glazing technology was developed in order to connect the slender temples, using the same screwless technology as used for the DOT MONO, which sets standards with its minimalistic feasibility. Titanium add-ons which are placed right in front of the lens are equally unique. The colourful TMi-flex contours which are applied around the lens and give the rimless frame a subtle colour frame are another exceptional design option.

As a medium-sized company and international label, MARKUS T stands for high quality, design-oriented spectacle frames. 100 % handmade in Germany, in Gütersloh-Isselhorst, to be precise. We love our lifestyle and we love what we do. We unite puristic beauty, technical innovation beyond known standards with a whole lot of passion.
By reconstructing a former distillery in 2014, designer Markus Temming laid the foundation to put his vision creating an unconventional place for both life and work into effect. The heart of his manufacture courtyard is the spectacle frame manufacturer, where handmade designer glasses are created, developed and produced –100 % German quality. The owner-operated company was founded in 1999 by Markus Temming and currently has around 100 employees. A perfect synergy of puristic design, intelligent technology with screwless hinges and the use of high-quality methods and materials – partly developed in-house and even patented – are the signature features of MARKUS T designer glasses. Our models are constantly awarded with national and international prizes. The MARKUS T brand environment further includes furniture, lamp and interior design.
Aspects of sustainability and social commitment are firmly established in every thought and action of MARKUS T and consistently guide new ideas.
