Vision Show // It’s Back, Bigger Than Ever

After a spectacularly successful inaugural showing, Vision Show, which has become home to independent businesses and entrepreneurs within the optical industry, is coming back for its second run August 5th, 2020 and it promises to be bigger and even better the second time around.

The virtual event is organized by seasoned optical industry professional and web designer extraordinaire, Charlene Nichols, with the goal of bringing together individuals and exhibitors from all parts of the eyecare world in order to allow for networking, education, and growth opportunities. Industry professionals will be able to learn about the hottest topics in eyecare, network, visit exhibit halls, shop, and more!

Super Optical, Optical Near ME, SellSMART Not Hard, Independent Owner’s Network, Schneider, CV Optical Lens Stock House and more will be presenting their products and services with special discounts available exclusively for Vision Show participants.

The show will feature plenty of knowledge-exchange opportunities including the Eye Shop Independent Fair: A Virtual Vision Fair where premium ticket holders can connect with people in their community virtually and teach them about the wonders of independent eyecare. A marketing corner will also be present to provide marketing tips and solutions that are specifically tailored to eyecare professionals will be available for optometrists who are looking to increase their patient base or who are perhaps struggling with their post-COVID reopening strategy.

Early bird registration, with special discounted pricing, begins July 4th -15th with regular registration rates. Admission will be free for students, who will also be able to enjoy specially tailed events and networking opportunities while gaining a unique perspective on the industry.

Ticket options are available in levels of Silver, Gold, Platinum and Diamond. While many events offer freebies for visiting booths, Vision Show takes this to the next level with The Swag Bag feature which will allow you to receive your items immediately after you purchase your badge. The Swag Bag offers thousands of dollars in free goodies from participants as well as access to three workshops.

In addition to shopping, learning and networking, participants will also be able to enjoy interactive and fun experiences in The Exhibition, Optical Near ME Suites, MBA (Mind Business Alignment) Experience, The Factory, the Hall of Leaders, and the Art Walk.

Industry innovators who are feeling brave are invited to participate in Vision Shark (think Shark Tank) to share their ideas and gain possible future clients. This unique event allows participants to showcase their work and gives the audience a sneak peek at the most recent innovations within the eyecare profession.

While, in the past, eye care professionals have had to solo navigate through marketing their practice and have had to rely on big name brands for frames and lenses, Vision Show offers an alternative by bringing the best of the independent eyecare industry to optometrists and other
