If you are reading this post then the chances are you either work in optics in some shape or form OR you just love glasses. Either way, I have some fun news to announce. During this very uncertain time, with the world almost at a standstill, it is a good opportunity to get creative and rest your mind and soul. This is why Ronit Furst has come up with a little design challenge for everyone. It is open to industry professionals or just consumers who love glasses. The concept of the design challenge is simple.
Use the link provided below to download the glasses templates, there are six different shapes to choose from. Dig out those colouring pens or pencils and get drawing. You can use as much colour as you like, draw a very intricate design or draw something completely crazy.
At the moment Ronit Furst hasn’t released too many details but I personally think there is a high chance that they will turn some of the designs into frames judging by their comment “You never know, we may be able to turn your drawings into reality”.
Getting involved is really simple, download the templates, get drawing, take a photo of your drawing and share it on your social media. Just remember to tag @RonitFurstEyewear and use this special hashtag #DesignYourOwnRonit so they know who you are. It is a fun little challenge for yourself and for the family. I have two small children myself and I will certainly get them both to doodle something, why not turn it into a fun family activity? Enjoy!
