Opti // Blogger Spectacle 2020

In January 2020 opti is once again inviting eyewear and lifestyle bloggers from across Europe to Munich. Looking for the most exciting new products and the hottest insider news, the bloggers will be reporting live and around the clock from the halls of the trade fair. In a Trendtalk they will be discussing why every product is suitable for social media. The BLOGGER SPECTACLE award ceremony for the participants of the opti BOXES will take place on Saturday at 12:30 pm in the opti FORUM.



The opti BLOGGER SPECTACLE, in its fourth edition in 2020, is a fixed date on the event calendar of any eyewear and lifestyle blogger. More than 20 influencers from Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Austria, Poland, and Spain will be coming together in Munich for a stylish “school reunion”, including several members of the TEF Entourage.

Products must tell a story if they are to leave a lasting impression. The digital opinion leaders of social media show every day how creativity, passion, and authenticity can be used to make fans and followers enthusiastic about new products.


With their more than 320,000 followers and reaching more than one million readers, bloggers have become a key multiplier for opti. Not only does the trade fair offer a perfect platform for networking, but it also actively involves the bloggers in what is happening. Together, the group will start speed-dating with the exhibitors in the opti BOXES in Hall C2 on Saturday morning in order to personally get to know the newcomers of the industry in 120-second sessions with each one. 

Which start-up is ahead of the others in 2020 will be announced at 12:30 pm in the opti FORUM (Hall C4) at the BLOGGER SPECTACLE award ceremony.


opti TRENDtalk

Any product is suitable for social media! In a best practice panel discussion immediately prior to the award ceremony, specialist bloggers and media experts will be discussing the fact that the focus does not need to be on design only, but that special interest topics such as glass, contact lenses, and refraction can survive in the new media. The Trendtalk is taking place on Saturday from 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm in the opti FORUM (Hall C4).

The opti STYLEMAP is brand new this year: a trend guide that presents the participating exhibitors of the BLOGGER SPECTACLES at one glance to bloggers and the media alike. Exhibitors from all product areas of the trade fair have taken up the invitation to the blogger event. An exclusive blogger portal allows exhibitors to connect with their preferred bloggers, letting them get to know each other personally even before the trade fair.
