Catuma

Kicking off for TEFdoesLA is this frame by Catuma. A frame with a resolute character, strong, as the steel front, but graceful, like the wind from which it borrows the name; Levante!

Its unusual top is composed by an upper part in steel, in which we find the game of solids and voids. This projection is reflected also internally, creating a model with blinkers, that brings to mind the aviator model, so linear when viewed frontally, but so complicated if admired laterally. The steel volutes that enrich the Levante frame, are embellished with cork inserts or decorated with elegant swirls in lamé. A graceful, dynamic and very elegant Catuma model for sure!
