Anne & Valentin KRAFTIES collection
Turning Material into Emotion
It was in the vibrant heart of Milan that Anne & Valentin unveiled its latest creations, a new season defined by material poetry, tactile expression, and controlled imperfection.
11 new models join the collection, accompanied by refreshed color stories for some of the brand’s most iconic frames. But the true protagonist of this launch is a concept that feels both raw and refined at once: KRAFTIES.
KRAFTIES: When Acetate Becomes Sensory
KRAFTIES is a sensory exploration where raw material meets poetry. Inspired by the artistry of frosted glass and the gentle passage of time, the concept celebrates the beauty of the unforeseen. This is acetate that feels as if it has been shaped by nature itself, softened by light, eroded like pebbles under water, caressed by time.
There is precision here, but never rigidity. A glassmaker’s discipline meets extreme, mastered machining. At first glance, one might speak of troubled geometry. Look closer, and something else appears: a living sensitivity, subtly imperfect, rich with matter and intention.
The collection resonates with the work of Minami Ikeya, known for handcrafted, frosted glass shaped through patient process. The same philosophy translates into these frames. Collage-like surfaces, softened edges, irregular contours. Each gesture opens the structure to light. Each frame seems to tell a story of a happy accident that was never truly accidental.
A hollowed hinge detail adds a restrained gloss, a controlled counterpoint to the matte, crystalline fronts. The result is a collection that feels carved, almost hand-polished, without claiming artifice. Naturalness is key.
A Palette Drawn from Glass
Color plays an essential role in KRAFTIES. The tones draw from glass pigments: crystalline fronts, opaline hinges, opaque temples finishing in crystal commas. Expression remains soft. Arty. Alive. Sensitive. Always in motion.
These are objects you want to observe for a long time. And instinctively want to touch.
The KRAFTIES Models
Each model carries a distinct personality, yet all share the same material narrative.
VENZA
A medium, elongated rectangle with assertive presence. Even thicknesses, horizontal lines softened by a gentle caliber. Its geometry is balanced, deliberate, thoughtful.
VENZA thinks deeply. Dreams excessively. Sometimes forgets it is a rectangle, until the hinges quietly bring it back to reality. A frame that feels introspective without losing clarity.

VITRI
Large. Round. Lunar. On smaller faces it becomes intentionally oversized. VITRI embraces radical independence of mind, a worldview entirely its own.
Chic yet enthusiastic, refined yet joyful. It invites touch, encouraging fingers to trace its irregularities. A statement of softness with intellectual bounce.

VASSIA
A small oval, irresistibly charming. The eternal student with an elongated gaze. Its hinges almost double as hair clips, playful yet precise.Â
VASSIA feels like a beauty accessory without surrendering to fragility. Sweet, whipped, and devoured with the eyes.

VELISKA
Octagonal. Graphic. Tonic. Present. A multiplication of facets that frames the gaze with strength. Structured as if carved from stone, yet softened through the KRAFTIES treatment.Â
VELISKA works both on immediate impact and on aftertaste. It is a peak. A cape. A peninsula of character.

With KRAFTIES, Anne & Valentin once again explores the fine line between structure and spontaneity, between industrial mastery and emotional resonance. In Milan, amidst the energy of the season, the message was clear: when material is allowed to breathe, eyewear becomes more than a frame. It becomes an experience.
About Anne et Valentin
Anne et Valentin is a French eyewear brand founded in Toulouse by a couple of passionate opticians with a wild dream: to create unique frames with striking graphic lines for their friends. From the very beginning, the brand has been guided by a desire to design glasses that reveal personality rather than disguise it, balancing creativity with wearability.
What defines Anne et Valentin today is above all expression—of freedom, independence, aesthetic values, and human connection. Each frame is treated like an individual, imagined with sensitivity and crafted with emotion.
The design studio works as both a research lab and a creative playground, where inspiration flows from music, literature, and art into bold explorations of line and color.
The brand’s long-standing commitment to quality is reflected in its Made in France production, with trusted workshops in the Jura region for over two decades, and selected titanium models produced in Japan, where the highest expertise lies. By combining artistry, precision, and authenticity, Anne et Valentin continues to set its own path, reminding us that true originality does not shout—it resonates.
