Suns Good
New Partnership with Kite Village Sardegna
At Punta Trettu, where turquoise waters meet relentless winds, Sun’s Good is making waves with a bold new partnership.
The Italian eyewear brand, founded by surf, skate, and snowboard enthusiasts, has teamed up with Kite Village Sardegna, a leading kitesurfing school that has been shaping riders since 2012.
Technical eyewear built for the elements
Starting this season, the eight instructors of Kite Village Sardegna will ride with Sun’s Good technical sunglasses. Engineered to endure the sun, wind, and sand, the models feature the brand’s patented Side Spoiler Protection System (S.S.P.S.), ensuring sharp vision and stability in extreme conditions. On the Punta Trettu lagoon, where Maestrale winds whip across the flat water and freestyle tricks take flight, such protection becomes essential gear.
From performance to lifestyle
The partnership extends beyond the water. Inside the village pro shop, riders and visitors will find Sun’s Good sunglasses displayed alongside skateboards and lifestyle gear, curated to reflect a community connected to the elements. It’s a natural fit: Kite Village embodies freedom and energy, while Sun’s Good adds a layer of conscious design that blends seamlessly with the relaxed, outdoor lifestyle of Sardinia.
In my own eyewear designing days, I was heavily involved in the kitesurf scene, sponsoring and scouting upcoming talents who would later become world champions, such as Kevin Langeree and Youri Zoon. Back then, I designed Rider Developed eyewear, frames built in close collaboration with athletes to withstand the demands of their sport. Seeing Suns Good step into this arena brings back that same pioneering spirit, where eyewear becomes an integral part of performance on the water.
Made in Italy, made responsibly
Since its founding in 2017, Suns Good has carved out its own path with 100% Made in Italy eyewear. Every pair is crafted with polycarbonate lenses featuring UVA/UVB protection, lightweight bio-nylon Rilsan frames derived from renewable sources, and a production chain powered by more than 40% clean energy. In Punta Trettu, this vision aligns perfectly with a culture that thrives on respect for nature, wind, and sea.
With this partnership, the free-spirited ethos of Sun’s Good finds its stage among the vibrant sails of Kite Village Sardegna, where sport and sustainability ride the same wave.
About Sun’s Good Sunglasses
Sun’s Good is an Italian eyewear brand founded in 2017 by a group of passionate surfers and snowboarders who wanted sunglasses that could keep up with their lifestyle.
Their vision was clear from the start: to create frames that are technical, protective, lightweight, eco-friendly, and effortlessly cool. Rooted in the spirit of adventure, the brand bridges performance with style, delivering eyewear that performs equally well on city streets, snowy peaks, or sunny beaches.
What makes Sun’s Good unique is its signature S.S.P.S. – Side Spoiler Protection System, an innovation that shields the eyes from sunlight, wind, and sand, ensuring comfort in the most demanding environments. Each frame is designed in Milan, the heart of Italian fashion, and produced in Varese, a region renowned for its action sports eyewear expertise.
Their lenses offer full UVA/UVB protection, with polarized options for extreme conditions, making them a trusted companion for both everyday wear and high-performance adventures.
Sustainability is woven into the brand’s DNA. Sun’s Good frames are crafted from Rilsan bio-nylon, a lightweight and durable material derived from castor oil, while their Italian manufacturing facilities source a significant portion of their energy from renewable resources. The result is eyewear that respects both performance and the planet.
