NW77th // Contrasting colour blends

Our London-based blogger Siu is wearing “Platform Bed”, which is a new addition to the Home Collection of NW77th’s Spring 2023 release. This colourful cat-eye frame features a softly rounded feminine silhouette with an expressive edge and a classic saddle bridge. Like most frames from their Home Collection, this cat eye frame is designed with a bevelled edge, displaying the blend of acetate that makes up the frame while drawing the eyes upwards and outwards for an uplifted look.

Their new Platform Bed is available in four colour blends: Flowers, Blue Grey, Cookies, and Hunter. Flowers, Cookies, and Hunter are all brand-new, never-before-seen acetate colour blends currently found only on the Platform Bed eyeglass model. Each acetate colour blend is custom designed by the Erkers and exclusive to the NW77th brand.

Seen on Siu, the Flowers colour blend features a semi-transparent mix of bright yellow, pink, and green hues, perfect for a fresh summer style. We truly love this contrasting busy mix of colours, and how the bevelled edge with a crystal green acetate highlights the hinge within. Each eyeglass from NW77th’s Home Collection is designed with a colour insert covering the end of the temple, this one a bright pink to complement the deep-green-coloured edge. The temples feature the same crystal colour blend as the face of the eyeglass, through which you’ll see the shiny silver wire core supporting the frame.

This beautiful work of art made Siu feel like spring had truly sprung, which can be seen in these little funny takes during her London shoot:
