Caroline Abram // Waves of Movement

A sun shock wave is coming to you, it’s called Karma.

Caroline Abram adds four pairs of sunglasses to her Karma collection, which previously only featured optical frames. Just like her Karma optical line, these new sunglasses by the Parisian designer adorn the eyes with waves of movement. Fine acetate frames, which voluminous design offers a telescopic effect. Even with a strong RX, Karma works as an optical illusion, providing lightness to oversized glasses.

An elegant and magnetic look even under tinted lenses. Caroline, true to her reputation, offers Karma in several colors: violine, peach or peacock blue to name a few. These new and colourful sunglasses can be combined with matching necklaces.

With Karma, Caroline opens a new page of her inspiration, whether with her optical or sun designs. Inspired by the work of Kengo Kuma, the Japanese architect who created the new perfect ogives for the Cathedral of Angers in France.

This sunglass line includes four shapes in eight colors and may be accompanied by its new matching chains. Optional but timeless. This collection appears like a stained-glass window rich in colours and gadroons, wave-like design capturing the light, that of all Karma.

About Caroline Abram

Caroline gives every woman the possibility of revealing and glorifying all the facets of her personality! Her frames amaze with their colours, freshness, and boldness. Caroline Abram’s collections are intended for all women who want to feel beautiful, sensual, or just themselves.

Caroline Abram started in 1998 designing jewels and accessories for the eyewear market. Apart from her magnifying glasses and chains, it was the not well know object called the lorgnette, that quickly gave her international success.

Rewarded with four gold Silmo awards, her Filao company opened its workshop in Dakar where Caroline spent her childhood. She trained a team of women, which now have been manufacturing her accessory lines for 15 years.

Caroline Abram uses diverse materials such as resin, silver,  wood, and semi-precious stones. During her journeys she discovers the charm of Florida and in 2008, she launched her own line of glasses inspired by the old-fashioned charm of Miami.

In 2014 she launched Têtes à Lunettes, a children’s line that was awarded the Silmo award for the best kids’ design in its very first year.
