TEFtalkMIDO // 20thDot Eyewear

At Mido, we had a TEFtalk with Marcia from the Italian eyewear label 20thDot, about their made to measure collection of 3D printed frames that are refined and hand-painted by an artist, making them more flashy and shiny like any frame you can find.

About 20thDot Eyewear:

The 20thdot glasses are really made to measure, thanks to the collaboration with cim system, a well-established software house that supported us in this project and to the software owner personaleyes, the distance from the lens to the ears is calculated for the rest of the result highly performing. A system that allows modelling the frame completely.

Their procedure is very simple, the face is scanned in 3d, taking into account the anatomical conformation: the shape of the nose, back-ear area, face size and interpupillary distance. You can find all this at your trusted optician.

Read more about them on TEF Magazine or visit their website.
