Johann von Goisern // Dare to be different

Do you dare to be different? With this colourful frame by Johann von Goisern, Patricia shows how different eyewear can be. Making use of two trend colours of the season – green and yellow – this particular frame also shows off a new lamination on the nose bridge. By including an extra semi-transparent layer on top if the bridge, the focus is drawn away from the nose and directed to the colourful top-layer instead, which accents the brow line.

Subtle design choices like this one highlight what Johann von Goisern is about: exciting, colourful eyewear that is simply different.

Every Johann von Goisern design combines up to 20 different layers of cellulose acetate (97% natural cotton) with a special lamination technique, developed in house. This special technique, paired with a thorough research and design process creates trendy, harmonious colour combinations like this one.

Every craft shop needs machines, and as a company founded by a mechanical builder, they are always open for new technologies. Innovation allows them to realise ideas which would otherwise be impossible – they won’t let insufficient tools limit our creativity. Although there have been many innovations and changes over the years, one aspect about JvG always stayed the same: “Johann von Goisern” still stands for highest quality and exceptional design, manufactured in Bad Goisern.

To this day, the brand and its products live and breathe the creativity and ideas of its inventor Johann Pomberger. The company is still firmly grounded on the values of its founder Johann: Relocating or even moving to another country is completely out of question.
