Bevel Specs – quirky wire series

Today, Arantxa is wearing model “Sherlock” from the new WIRE series of Bevel Specs, featuring super thin, extremely lightweight titanium. Two small eye shapes with extensions, in their fabulous color palettes, are quirky but very cool.

Bevel is a NY designed eyewear brand that cherishes fine craftsmanship, sophisticated colors and a minimalist aesthetic. Manufactured by one of the few artisan factories remaining in Japan, the Bevel collection was born into existence in 1999 by two legendary Optical personalities in Richard Mewha, a Brit sales exec/designer based in New York city and Rick Nelson, the Missouri Optician, sales exec and sometimes farmer. As one of the very few USA based high end Optical companies, Bevel continues to forge it’s own path to success both here in the USA and internationally through it’s collection of bold and beautiful eyewear designs. Form, function and quality are the bedrock of of this stunning collection.

Richard Mewha describing Bevel:
I would say “classic with a twist” sums us up very well. I love to play with color: I like wearable shapes that enhance the face, not distract from it: I like to rethink the materials of our frames constantly to improve balance, fit and change up the aesthetics. Fall/Winter 18 is all about moving forward. Adapting to technological progress, while respecting what truly is Bevel.

We always love to work with the amazing frames from Bevel, but this new wire series create some intellectual but fun frame in great colors. We are looking forward seeing more of these!
