Studio Eyewear Autumn 2026
Introduces Space-Age Visions in Sculptural Acetate
Sculptural acetate, expressive laminations and a nostalgic look at tomorrow define Studio Eyewear’s capsule collection.
The future has always had a certain look. For Autumn 2026, Studio Eyewear turns back to one of its most optimistic interpretations, drawing inspiration from the Space Age aesthetics of the 1950s to create eyewear that feels simultaneously nostalgic and forward-looking.
Building on the futuristic direction introduced in its spring collection, the Malmö-based brand shifts perspective towards an era when tomorrow was imagined through sweeping curves, graphic forms, experimental materials and unapologetic colour. The result is a compact collection of sculptural eyewear that carries those references into a distinctly contemporary setting.
Looking Back at the Future
Rather than recreating the design language of the 1950s literally, Studio Eyewear uses its optimism and experimentation as a starting point.
Generous silhouettes are combined with expressive laminations, patterns and contrasting colours, giving each frame a strong visual identity. Shapes feel substantial without becoming static, while the interplay between colour and material introduces the playful character that has become central to the Studio Eyewear aesthetic.
It is an approach that fits naturally within the brand’s broader philosophy. Designed in Studio Eyewear’s Malmö studio, the collection continues its focus on bold eyewear for women who see their glasses as part of their personal expression rather than simply a functional accessory.
Stellanova // Sculptural Presence
Stellanova is perhaps the clearest expression of the collection’s more architectural side.
Its generous, voluminous silhouette gives the frame immediate presence, allowing thickness, contour and patterned acetate to become part of the design rather than simply its construction.
Integrated nose pads help balance that visual weight with everyday comfort, while the layered front adds depth and movement. Depending on the colourway, Stellanova can move from sophisticated to deliberately eccentric, but its strong sculptural identity remains unmistakable.

Astrum // Graphic Futurism
Where Stellanova explores volume, Astrum puts greater emphasis on graphic impact.
Colour and pattern become defining elements of the frame, referencing the optimistic visual language associated with mid-century visions of space travel, technology and the future.
The historical influence is there, but the interpretation remains unmistakably contemporary. Bold contrasts and confident shaping give Astrum an expressive character that feels playful without becoming novelty-driven.

Together, the two models demonstrate different sides of the same idea: one built around sculptural mass and material, the other around graphic rhythm and colour.
Acetate with an Italian Accent
Material plays an important role throughout the Autumn 2026 collection.
The frames are produced using acetate from Italian manufacturer Mazzucchelli, allowing Studio Eyewear to work with the layered colours and expressive patterns that give the designs much of their personality. Gold- and silver-plated metal details introduce a more refined counterpoint to the playful acetate work.
These choices continue an established material language for Studio Eyewear, whose collections combine Mazzucchelli acetate with plated metal components and are produced in limited editions for selected optical retailers.
For Autumn 2026, that familiar formula is pushed into a more futuristic direction. By looking backwards at how previous generations imagined tomorrow, Studio Eyewear has created a collection that feels surprisingly relevant today: optimistic, expressive and completely comfortable with taking up space.
The Studio Eyewear Autumn 2026 collection is available from August 2026.
