See. Hear. Next. Shapes the Future

3 faces, 3 perspectives and 1 clear direction for opti 2027.

The future of optics is not waiting quietly in the distance. It is already taking shape through expressive eyewear, connected hearing care, intelligent technologies and a new generation of professionals ready to rethink the industry.

With See. Hear. Next., opti introduces the campaign behind its 2027 edition, taking place from 29 to 31 January in München.

First unveiled earlier this year, the new claim now comes to life through three industry professionals, each representing a distinct part of the show.

Together, they reflect what opti intends to bring to Munich: strong design, meaningful connections and ideas ready to move from conversation into action.

opti 2027 See campaign featuring Ilga Künzel and eyewear design

See.
Design with Attitude.

The See. pillar places eyewear design, fashion and personal expression firmly in the spotlight.

Across two exhibition halls, visitors will discover independent labels, emerging trends and collections that demonstrate the creative breadth of contemporary eyewear. The opti DESIGN STAGE will add another layer, offering a platform for design discussions, new perspectives and inspiration from across the optical world.

Representing See. is Ilga Künzel, Managing Director of Luitpold Optik in Rosenheim. With her combination of industry knowledge, style awareness and practical retail experience, she embodies the role eyewear continues to play as both a visual aid and a form of identity.

opti 2027 Hear campaign featuring Michael Männing and hearing care

Hear.
New Opportunities in Hearing Care.

With Hear., opti continues to strengthen the connection between optics and hearing care.

At the centre of this development is the opti SPHEARE, where both disciplines come together. The format is designed to encourage new contacts, introduce additional services and help optical businesses explore opportunities beyond their traditional offering.

The face of Hear. is Michael Männing, Managing Director of Männing Hören Sehen Erleben GmbH in Wuppertal. His professional background reflects the practical relationship between hearing and vision care, as well as the entrepreneurial potential created when both fields are approached together.

opti 2027 Next campaign featuring Anastasia Klaus and optical innovation

Next.
The Future Starts Now.

Smart eyewear, start-ups, emerging talent and new business models shape the third element of the campaign.

Next. brings these developments into focus through technologies and ideas influencing the optical sector. TOMORROW VISION, next-generation products and entrepreneurial concepts show where the market is heading and how optical professionals can take part in progress.

Representing this forward-looking spirit is Anastasia Klaus, a master optician from Hör + Seh Studio in Butzbach. She stands for curiosity, new beginnings and a generation that is prepared to question established structures while building new ones.

Three Perspectives, One Mindset

The visual campaign uses proximity, contrast and subtle humour to give each theme its own identity. At the same time, all three faces remain connected by a shared message: progress requires clear vision, open ears and the confidence to take the next step.

‘Three authentic personalities from the industry, three perspectives, one mindset: moving forward. See. demonstrates the power of design. Hear. connects what belongs together. And Next. does not wait for the future – it shapes it. That is precisely why the international community comes together in Munich. And for the traditionally technology-savvy DACH market, we have something else up our sleeve – more on that shortly.’

Cathleen Kabashi

Director, opti

The campaign will now roll out across opti’s digital channels in the months leading up to the show.

From 29 to 31 January 2027, Munich will once again become an international meeting point for the optical industry, bringing together design, hearing care, technology and new thinking under one clear message:

See. Hear. Next.
