Vasuma x Deadwood Rimless Eyewear

Vasuma x Deadwood // Weightless Shades, Rooted in Rebellion

Weightless, Fearless: Vasuma x Deadwood Reimagine Rimless Eyewear

In the heart of Stockholm, where fashion disruptors and optical artisans walk the same snow-lined streets, Deadwood and Vasuma have joined forces to launch something bold, minimal—and nearly invisible.

The new capsule collection, Weightless by Deadwood x Vasuma, features two limited-edition rimless sunglasses models, designed with recycled Swedish surgical steel.

Only 50 pieces per colorway will be made, making this one of the rarest optical collaborations of the year.

The collection features the Colletti Sun and Macrelaps Sun models in Gun Metal, offered with Grey and Pink gradient lenses, combining understated style with unshakable intent. The frames are not only nearly weightless on the face—they carry the weight of purpose, heritage, and rebellion.

“We’ve managed to challenge ourselves even further—towards something nearly weightless. This is Swedish craftsmanship at its best—minimalist and visionary.”

Vasuma x Deadwood // Model COLLETTI

Colletti merges featherlight engineering with organic contours, resulting in a frame that redefines minimalism.

The rimless, softly oval lenses create a fluid, understated silhouette, enhanced by a matte black structure crafted from recycled Swedish surgical steel

Ultra-slim temples flow into stainless steel tips, completing the monomaterial concept. Matte black accents, including a co-branded emblem on the nose pads and temple tips, reinforce its clean design language. Offered in Grey and Pink Gradient lenses, Colletti is a modern nod to Scandinavian restraint with a weightless feel.

On the other end of the spectrum, Macrelaps introduces an angular, assertive geometry.

The rectangular, rimless lenses offer a sharper silhouette, contrasting with the barely-there matte black temples forged from the same recycled Swedish steel

Precision lines and a flat brow give the frame a technical edge, while engraved nose pads and integrated steel tips highlight its refined craftsmanship. Also available in Grey or Pink Gradient lenses, Macrelaps delivers a bold yet minimal take on progressive eyewear.

“Craftsmanship has always been the backbone of Vasuma. Together with Deadwood, we’ve created a collection that’s rimless, timeless, and sustainably minded—for people who value freedom and function over norms.”

Creative Director, Vasuma

With Weightless by Deadwood x Vasuma, the brands invite wearers to forget the frame—and remember the feeling.

About Vasuma

Vasuma is a Swedish eyewear brand that specializes in vintage-inspired frames with a rebellious twist. Founded in Stockholm, the brand was created as an antidote to corporate conformity, blending Scandinavian design with a healthy dose of attitude and humor. Its collections pay homage to iconic silhouettes from the past, reimagined with modern materials, bold details, and distinctive names inspired by snakes—symbolizing their desire to challenge the status quo.

What makes Vasuma unique is its ability to strike the perfect balance between retro nostalgia and urban edge.

Each frame is designed to be instantly recognizable, yet versatile enough to complement diverse personal styles.

With strong lines, unexpected colorways, and playful branding, Vasuma pushes beyond minimalism to deliver frames that exude personality and individuality.

Since its founding in 2005, Vasuma has grown from cult favorite to global name, embraced by eyewear lovers who value authenticity over trends. By producing in small batches and maintaining creative independence, Vasuma continues to carve its own path—refusing to blend in, and always ready to bite.
