Linda Farrow // A Surrealist Dream

Linda Farrow unveils a
surrealist Dream

For Autumn/Winter 2025, LINDA FARROW draws inspiration from surrealist art, celebrating the extraordinary beauty found in unexpected combinations of form, shape, and texture.

While staying true to the brand’s iconic design language, this collection takes an innovative and imaginative approach, encouraging self-expression through eyewear.

The campaign, “A Surrealist Dream,” was shot at the British Museum and on the streets of London, blending art, history, and modernity in a visually striking narrative. Inside the museum, the collection’s artistic roots are highlighted against a grand cultural backdrop, while the outdoor shots capture the energy of London’s streets—demonstrating how these avant-garde designs transition seamlessly from dreamlike inspiration to everyday wear.

LINDA FARROW’s optical designs continue to push boundaries while maintaining refined elegance. Standout pieces include:

  • Alicia – A sophisticated blend of layered titanium and fine acetate, creating a bold yet wearable statement.
  • Yves – A reimagining of the Calthorpe silhouette, crafted entirely in titanium with cutaway detailing, showcasing the brand’s signature double-color technique.

This season’s sunglasses reflect a daring, art-driven aesthetic, featuring unexpected structural elements and color contrasts. Key highlights:

  • Emmy – A rectangular acetate frame with lens-filled cutouts in the temple, resembling a surrealist window into another dimension.
  • Flick – A boundary-pushing design where the lens is embedded on top of the acetate, seamlessly merging frame and lens into a single fluid form.

The LINDA FARROW Autumn/Winter 25 collection made its exclusive debut at MIDO, marking a significant moment for the brand. Adding to the excitement, founder Linda Farrow herself attended the show—her first return to MIDO in many years—bringing a personal touch to this highly anticipated launch.

For independent opticians and eyewear enthusiasts seeking artistic craftsmanship and visionary design, this collection offers a striking blend of luxury and surrealist innovation—further cementing LINDA FARROW’s place at the intersection of art and eyewear.

Established in 1970, the Linda Farrow brand of luxury eyewear rose quickly to acclaim. Originally a fashion designer herself, Linda Farrow was one of the first to treat sunglasses as fashion, producing collection after cutting-edge collection, her finger always on the pulse of the times.

After a twenty-year hiatus, the Linda Farrow brand made its return in 2003, revived by the designer’s son, Simon Jablon when at 24-years-old he uncovered a collection of his Mother’s original designs. Initially re-launching the brand under the name Linda Farrow Vintage, the original archive offering gained stockists at department stores such as Browns and Harvey Nichols.

Unprecedented demand for the archive collection led Simon to revive the brand fully, beginning to create his own Linda Farrow eyewear which continues his Mother’s commitment to visionary design that forever pushes boundaries.

Today renowned for its collaborations with many of the world’s most acclaimed designers and its uncompromisingly luxurious mainline collections, Linda Farrow has established itself as one of the most exciting brands in fashion with over 30 standalone stores and concessions and 500 global wholesalers. With frequent celebrity sightings including Gigi and Bella Hadid, Rihanna, Beyonce, Kendall Jenner and Lady Gaga to name a few, and a list of new and exciting collaborations in the future, Linda Farrow’s pace shows no signs of abating.
