The Optical Women’s Association announces global connection event at Mido
The Optical Women’s Association (OWA) is excited to announce an OWA Global Event at MIDO in Milan, as expansion plans continue to reach out to women in the optical industry internationally.
You’re invited to “Breaking Optical Barriers: Women Who Conquered the Climb to Success”, a powerhouse panel of accomplished executive leaders facilitated by OWA Vice President, Megan Molony.

Graciously sponsored by MIDO, this inspiring event begins with an introduction from Lorraine Berton, President of ANFAO and MIDO, followed by a powerhouse panel featuring:
– Malika Azrine-Bouferquene
(EssilorLuxottica),
– Barbara Salimbeni
(Marchon Eyewear)
– Sara Osculati
(Thelios).
These accomplished leaders will share their journeys to success, discussing challenges such as overcoming gender bias, balancing work and life, and navigating corporate structures. The session aims to inspire and empower the next generation of optical leaders.
