THE INTERNATIONAL OPTICAL EXHIBITIONS FOR CHINA China International Optics Fair (CIOF 2027) and China (Shanghai) International Optics Fair (SIOF 2027, the spring session of the CIOF), are the two annual optical shows in China enjoying official endorsement and support.

In China, official approval and government support mean half a ticket to success. The shows behind SIOF 2027 are equipped with the justify credentials.

They are approved by the Ministry of Commerce and supported by the China National Light Industry Council, the former Ministry of Light Industry. This organisation is the authorised body supervising China’s light industry, with optics representing one of its key sectors.

SIOF 2027 is organized by the China Optometry & Optical Association (COOA), the body governing the optical industry in China, together with Sinolight International Holdings Corporation (SIHC), a state-owned enterprise responsible for international trade development.

The timing of SIOF 2027 also fits perfectly within China’s bi-annual procurement cycles, making it a strategic meeting point for buyers and manufacturers. The show is officially recognised by the Ministry of Commerce as a “Distinguished Optical Exhibition.”
