Andy Wolf’s motto for the coming year is ‘HEARTMADE’, once again focusing on what the brand is all about: the preservation of old craftsmanship combined with a flair for modern design and a strong focus on sustainable production.
The vertically integrated factories in Austria and France are the heart of the brand and at the same time the basis for a collection with unusual shapes, bold color combinations and a high standard of quality. Highlights of the collection are the Heart sunglasses and their optical counterpart 4811.
The sunglasses are made of metal with a flat acetate inner ring and are modeled on a heart. The optical version in thin metal is delicate and feminine without being kitschy and creates a link to classic panto shapes.
There will also be another new addition to Andy Wolf’s portfolio: the launch of the label’s first frameless eyewear. BOLDLESS aims to be a counter-current to the frameless eyewear currently on the market and shows a major influence from the hip hop aesthetic of the 90s.
The iconic nose bridge takes center stage and is doubled and enlarged. The temples are made of very fine, flexible acetate and therefore take the pressure off the lenses thanks to their flexibility. One of the collection’s favorite pieces is the Yohkoh model with a rainbow speckle on the lens.
Another project close to Andy Wolf’s heart is the conversion of the collection to more sustainable acetate Renew. The switch will be 95% complete by the end of this year – two years earlier than planned.
In general, the brand continues to pursue the approach of leading the company more and more towards a greener and more conscious future. With a strong commitment to social responsibility and a critical look at its own working methods, processes are being changed and improved and new perspectives are being identified in order to create more than just a product as a company.

An idea among friends, that was the beginning of the independent, Austrian eyewear brand ANDY WOLF EYEWEAR. In 2006 the label was founded by Andreas Pirkheim (better known as Andy) and Wolfgang Scheucher (the wolf in the name). What started very small and with a big vision to combine local, traditional eyewear craftsmanship with contemporary, innovative design is now worn and loved worldwide.

ANDY WOLF is also once again demonstrating a pioneering spirit in its choice of materials: step by step, acetate frames are being switched to Acetate Renew, the most sustainable acetate in the industry - for a thoroughly sustainable collection that is unique on the market.
