ClearVision Optical is introducing Demi + Dash, a new independent brand that continues the company’s longstanding reputation as a leader in children’s eyewear. It offers frames for growing kids and tweens that are designed to be both durable and stylish.
Demi + Dash caters to the needs of today’s growing kids and tweens, providing comfortable and durable eyewear that is functional and stylish.
These frames are designed for active, style-conscious 7-to-12-year-old kids who are ready for the next step in eyewear or are looking for their first frames.
There are two subcollections in this release, each with its own unique technologies and styles; The 180s and The Flexyz:
The 180s
The 180s subcollection is perfect for kids who are ready to venture into more mature and sophisticated styles. It presents a series of timeless designs infused with vibrant and playful pops of color. These frames strike a perfect balance between style and durability, featuring hinges that allow the temples to flex 180 degrees.
The 180s frames are meticulously crafted using traditional materials like acetate and a variety of metals, resulting in a diverse range of styles that empower kids to express their individual personalities. The wholesale price for the 180s is $49.99.
Featured Style: Haven
This acetate style for girls offers fade colorations and a square eye shape. It features a playful pattern along the inside of the temples. The frame is available in Purple Fade, Blue Fade, and Teal.
Featured Style: Drift
This boy’s frame with a keyhole bridge has an acetate front and metal temples accentuated by sporty cutouts. The front features a round eye shape. This style comes in Blue Horn and Grey Crystal.

“This generation of kids is unique—they’re active but digital, they’re style-conscious but they haven’t quite grown out of the things that make them kids. Demi + Dash meets them where they are with the next generation of style. It offers durability without sacrificing the fun fits that children are looking for. We’re excited to offer parents and their children this next step in eyewear.”
The Flexyz
Drawing inspiration from Dilli Dalli’s hingeless design with the IntelliFlex, which flexes in multiple directions, the Flexyz subcollection showcases a range of vibrant and sporty styles crafted from TR90 material. Each frame in this collection incorporates an enhanced iteration of Dilli Dalli’s resilient hinge system, newly known as the IntelliFlex 2. These hinges retain their remarkable flexibility while boasting a more sophisticated appearance, with the ripples from the original IntelliFlex hinges placed on the inside only.
Additionally, the frames feature a metal core wire in the temple tips, allowing for easy adjustments to accommodate growing faces. The temples can also be changed if needed and include holes for attaching optional breakaway straps. The wholesale price for Flexyz is $46.99.
Featured Style: Boomer
A TR90 frame with a rectangle eye shape. This style comes with extra pops of color in the IntelliFlex 2 hinges and temple end pieces. It is available in Pink, Purple, Teal, and Cornflower Blue.
Featured Style: Chico
A translucent TR90 frame with an oval eye shape. The temple end pieces and hinges showcase deeper and additional touches of color. It comes in Orange, Violet, Grey, and Ocean Blue.

About Demi + Dash Eyewear
From the creators of the leading pediatric brand, Dilli Dalli, comes Demi + Dash: eyewear made to be cool enough for little trendsetters eager to express their unique personalities and durable enough to withstand their active lifestyles, as well as frequent removal and wear. Whether in the classroom, on the playground, or anywhere else, ClearVision designed this collection to keep up with the boundless energy of growing kids and tweens.
“The alliterative Demi + Dash name calls back to our leading pediatric brand, Dilli Dalli, and for good reason,” said Cathy Kaye, head of product at ClearVision. “Demi + Dash is an extension of Dilli Dalli, as well as a brand that can stand on its own. The next step in style is something Dilli Dalli parents have been asking for, and Demi + Dash is our answer.”
About ClearVision
ClearVision, a longtime leader in children’s eyewear, has earned the highest praise from eye care professionals for having the best kids’ styles compared to other companies, according to Jobson Viewpoint. From Fisher Price to Steve Madden Kids, Advantage Kids, and Dilli Dalli, ClearVision has long provided some of the top options in the pediatric market. In fact, Fisher-Price was ClearVision’s entrance into kid’s eyewear in 1988.
Although ClearVision is a leader in kids’ frames, the company continues to seek ways to better understand what parents and their little ones are looking for in eyewear. Those efforts include a recent survey of hundreds of ECPs to hear what they think is missing from children’s eyewear.
With input from those ECPs, these frames are specifically designed to provide a comfortable fit for kids aged 7 to 12. Feedback from pediatric specialists guided the product team to pay special attention to the bridge and nose flair, ensuring a unique fit designed specifically for growing kids and tweens. Demi + Dash features two distinct subcollections.
