NW77th // Bring On The Sun

Introducing 8 sunglass styles in time for the sunny seasons.

Known for their bold shapes and brilliant colors, NW77th pulled out all the stops on their Spring 2023 sunglasses, introducing two new sunglass models in four colors each. The two sunglass models, Devil’s Thorn and Venus Fly Trap, were both handcrafted with an acetate frame and a metal wire core for a durable yet flexible build. NW77th married their meticulous craftmanship with unique, modern design, building upon current and upcoming trends to shift them into their own distinctive look.

Devil’s Thorn

A feminine cat eye shape paired with a thin temple make up the Devil’s Thorn sunglass, decorated with an acetate color split at the edge and temple tips.

The added decoration brings an expressive, modern look to the otherwise classic rounded cat eye design, giving the sunglass that signature NW77th style – young, fresh, and fun with a contemporary look and feel. This sunglass comes in three new colors to the brand, Bone Green, Oceans End, and Red Zebra, as well as a much-loved classic, Tort Purple.

Venus Fly Trap

Inspired by current styles with influences from the 60s, Venus Fly Trap was designed with a large, thick build and a colorful palette.

This sunglass leans into today’s trend of oversized color pop ovals, featuring an oval lens with a subtle cat eye corner and smooth, rounded edges for a more contemporary look. A color shift brings personality to the temples, paired with a checkered texture along the temple interior. Each color blend of Venus Fly Trap is new to the brand, including Peach Pitt, Limestone, Mambas, and Blue Hoo.
