Erkers1879 // Striking Femininity

Siu is wearing Twin Oaks, a striking feminine sunglass from the Roman Numeral V collection of Erkers1879 Eyewear. This thick cat-eye-shaped frame, in the colour Spirament, brings the drama with its oversized silhouette, designed with soft edges and rounded rims for a bold yet elegant style. This handcrafted frame is made with biodegradable cellulose acetate, reinforced by a metal wire core and authentic stainless-steel rivets for added durability, and hand-polished for a buttery-smooth finish.

The Twin Oaks sunglass gets its name from an area just outside of St. Louis, Mo., which is a mere 25-minute drive from the brand’s original place of inception. The bright Spirament color, a newer addition to the heritage brand, brings a fresh element to their classic subdued-modern palette.

This light blue-green hue is inspired by the spring-fed waters of the Meramec River, which flows through a state park neighboring the Twin Oaks area. The mint color is contrasted by polarized Grey-Gradient lenses with a hint of purple in their coloring.

In addition to the Spirament color worn by Siu-Yin, the sunglass is also available in Champaign, Black, and Tortoise.

Symbolizing the Roman Numeral V collection and the 5th generation of Erkers to run the family business, a gold “V” emblem can be found on the right temple tip. Etchings of the brand name as well as their year of inception can also be found throughout the sunglass’s design.
