MIDO 2023 // Must-See brands

Must-See brands!

At MIDO 2023

This weekend, MIDO 2023 will open its doors, showing us the latest in eyewear design.

As always, we have created a little list of the Must-See brands, which are really worth a visit! Brands in a wide variety of categories, to match anyone’s desires:

Since first introduced in 2002, Ronit Furst was the epitome of individuality; Led by artist and creative director Ronit Furst, the brand stood out with its colorful, bold, and innovative designs. Their trademark style ‘Multicolor’ is well-loved and religiously worn by many around the world. Now they are coming to present at MIDO Milano for the first time, bringing a burst of joyful colors with them.

Ronit’s artistic process explores the ways in which an idea can be represented in several dimensions, and eventually create an immersive experience. Their extra-colorful booth will showcase models from their entire catalog, spanning 20 years of activity. There, Ronit herself will be happy to tell you the story and inspiration behind each frame. Visit their booth and see for yourself what happens when art meets the eye.

We discovered Fede Cheti last year, and fell in love with their collections that are based on the harmonization of the timeless aesthetic component, of contemporary and functional beauty.

Their designs bring elegance, uniqueness and their long history of Milanese design to the world of eyewear today.

Check out their collection at Mido this year, and see the combination of amazing styles with beautiful details! A true Must-See!!

Bold, unexpected, premium, and technically innovative. J.F. REY follows its differentiating path in eyewear for MIDO 2023, always led by future-inspired influences.

The collection for MIDO introduces new high-tech products, such as the concept ODYSSEY: a 3D Nylon built-in core conception of the frames. Also, the OLYMPUS metal edition is highly technical with its patented screwless hinge. New typical metal styles are coming in cheerful colors, iconic carbon designs are revisited in the newest creative schemes, and assertive and oversized silhouettes come in thick acetates.

Another awesome brand we recently discovered is Ophy eyewear, a brand born from the inspiration and passion of two whimsical young minds with a common interest: eyewear and modern contemporary design.

The design of their shapes has a modern reinterpretation and is inspired by decisive and defined architectural forms that have marked the history of futurism and modern art.

And the fact that their Sicilian founder is the son of an Italian winemaker, doesn’t sound bad to us either.. We are hoping for an invitation, but for now, do check out their styles at Mido!

I think we all know and love the Japanese eyewear company Masunaga Optical, which was established in 1905. Their integrated production system improves the detail and quality. These technologies that have been developed over 100 years are accumulated there.
“MASUNAGA since 1905” collection, pays tribute to the classic and timeless designs of Masunaga’s own historical frames.

At MIDO 2023, they will release all new colours and models for SS23.
