OPTI 2023 // What not to miss!!

Must-See brands!

At OPTI Munchen 2023

With just several days left until the next OPTI in Munich, we can barely wait to see what amazing eyewear will be on display at this innovative show!

As always, we have created a little list of the Must-See brands, which are really worth a visit! Brands in a wide variety of categories, to match anyone’s desires:

The iconic and essential fashion of the 60s inspires the creations of Caroline Abram, daring frames with butterfly curves, panthos, and oversize cat’s eyes. On her booth at Opti, you’ll find new sunglasses from her three new capsule collections, Karma and Diva de Blush, but also the new Jalouse collection, which features two-tone metallic models.

Her Blush collection really caught our eye, with new affordable, highly individual, and colourful frames that embellish like blush on the cheeks, and a chill breath of fresh air.

Be sure to say “hi” to Caro from me at Hall C1, Stand 585

At this Opti, the German eyewear experts at Coblens Eyewear are celebrating their 10th-year edition of ZFH titanium frames, which was first launched at the 2013 edition of the Munich show. All their six new frame designs are a remake of models that they introduced at their first show.

At Opti, they will also showcase eight new shapes from their newest acetate collection “Destination”, which features four optical and four sunglasses. Some of them are a homage to the 70th, but you will also find more modern shapes with fantastic round cross sections or convex facets. A real Must-See this show!

At Opti, the designers at FACE A FACE continue their exploration around the Italian Memphis art movement – with a kinetic prism!

The nod to the Memphis movement is propagated and expressed by a colour-blocking palette: ultra-graphic materials contrasting with solid colours – bringing to life playful clashes, conceived as a visual interplay and dialogue. Great technical acumen is also revealed in the bonding and machining, designed to bring poetry to life.

So stop by their Opti booth and dare to be irrational, to think the unthinkable and to do the unprecedented. Be where no one is waiting for you. Cultivate magic with FACE À FACE.

In Munich, “the first stop of this tradeshow season”, our friends at makellos will present a collection inspired by Tokyo, often referred to as the “last stop before the moon”, and the city of contrasts and apparent contradictions.

Glittering, hectic and sensory overloaded on the one hand, the Japanese metropolis shows its spiritual and traditional side with numerous oases of peace on the other hand. In Tokyo’s Harajuku district, the epicenter of global fashion trends, cosmic flair meets minimalist Japanese aesthetics. Nowhere else in the world is the crossing of fashion boundaries celebrated as much as in this trendy district.

The new makellos. sunglasses collection “TOKYO_VIBES” was inspired by this place of fantasy, and will be available from spring/summer 2023.

The collection will be presented for the first time at  Aoyama´s stand 110 in hall C3

Article One is ready to start 2023 in spectacular fashion! The Opti Munich attendees will be the first to see Article One’s Spring ’23 collection, which will feature bold shapes in many custom acetates and laminations. While this collection is bold in shape and color, Article One continues to stay true to its ethos of designing timeless heirloom eyewear.

Article One exists to create heirloom eyewear that becomes part of your story. Article One frames are handmade in Italy. The family-owned factories we work with are experts at what they do. We believe in giving credit where credit is due by shining a light on the hands that craft each frame. The care put into Article One eyewear results in quality you can feel.

Inspired by sport, European fashion and urban cultural influences, these French-designed eyeglasses promise optimal light-wearing comfort and individual style.

Twelve new frames enhance the Ad Lib collection. The focus this season is on versatile structures, colour contrasts, new shades and cool frame forms.

Our good friends at Laibach & York would love to show you two amazing new styles this Opti, which are both part of their Capital collection, featuring frame designs inspired by capital cities around the world.

Canberra pays homage to the capital city of Australia and is a bold rectangular cat-eye showcasing the daring Australian spirit in a lightweight colorfoul frame that is sure to be a favourite for optical shops on all continents.

Sofia is the capital of Bulgaria and well known for its mineral springs. This frame characterises those springs with three glittering colours in a bold feminine frame that epitomizes both elegance and modernity.
