OPTI 2022 // Must-See brands

Must-See brands!

At OPTI Munchen 2022

With just several days left until the next OPTI in Munich, we can barely wait to see what amazing eyewear will be on display at this innovative show! As always, we have created a little list of the Must-See brands, which are really worth a visit! Brands in a wide variety of categories, to match anyone’s desires:

If you want to give your customers a new experience, then be sure to check out the Haute Couture 3D experience at VM L’Atelier. They invite you to come and discover their eyewear with revolutionary colors and amazing comfort.

With their focus on technology combined with high-quality design, their collection of optical and sunglass frames is made with a new 3D process in High Resolution. Their coloring process is the result of a patent guaranteeing them luminous, unique, and even flamboyant colors.

The soft aspect of the faces contrasts with a shiny stainless treated with 4 different metallizations. This combination brings a luxurious singularity to this new collection, without an equivalent on the market.

Be sure to check them out and get inspired at Hall C2, Stand 344

The distinctive brand Frank and Lucie is presenting its newest models and colours of pret-a-porter readers, chains, and accessories. Their readers are made of acetate, with spring hinges and blue light coatings.

For this summer the brand chose some really inspiring models and striped colors. Almost neon-like but always classy, they call it Radiant Harmony
If you are looking on readers that are on-trend and will reflect the quality of your store, then be sure to check them out!

Their distributor for Germany and Switzerland can be found in Hall C3, booth 271.

Helden Optical is a Dutch eyewear brand founded by visionary Joey Diekman, who will probably deny that title, so let’s just call him an adventurous little rascal.

His unique and recognizable frame designs are based on commercial shapes from the past, which he likes to call “Heroes” or “Helden” in Dutch. Frame designs with a proven aesthetic, which he has brought back into the twenty-first century with his own unique twist, in both design as material use.

Starting with a small collection of his favorite “heroes”, he has now grown the brand in a more mature selection of great styles and colours, which he will be happy to show you at Opti.

If you would like to see how neo-vintage design meets sophisticated technology, then be sure to check out the booth of the Stuttgart-based manufacturer NEOSTYLE. This innovative brand places great emphasis on ecological sustainability in the development and production of its spectacle frames and combines innovative high-tech manufacturing processes with precise craftsmanship.

Incredible lightness, expressiveness and passion characterise the models in this collection. They convince with flowing shapes and a wide range of colours and sizes and fit perfectly into our time. Designed, created and produced in Baden-Württemberg, we combine innovation with production experience. This is how our light and modern frames with high wearing comfort and quality standards are created.

You can find them in Hall C3, Stand 441

Enjoy nature’s portfolio at MIDO, framed by Hoffmann Natural Eyewear in a skilled presentation of the true art of craftsmanship. Hoffmann’s luxurious horn-rims are handcrafted by an expert team in their German atelier, where the very best of tradition and innovation combine to create beautiful, sustainable eyewear.

Every pair of unique artisan spectacles showcases the radiance of natural materials. Eyewear classics and trendsetting contemporary styles in genuine horn are joined by new models from the Ti-line series, which offer the ultralight comfort of a premium horn/titanium union. A stunning new concept taking exclusive natural horn eyewear to an extravagant next level is also ready to be unveiled.

Our friends at JF Rey have been expressing an offbeat and differentiating style for decades and are truly part of the culture of experimentation with innovation and contemporary design.

Always pioneering and unconventional in the exploration of materials, they would love to highlight their new design at Opti, which is a mixture of Glass and Carbon Fibers.

One of the most awarded collections to check out at OPTI is by far the new MIO feeling light collection by Markus T, which plays with colours and light. It features 17 different shapes, 8 colours and different titanium temple options in a great variety!

Just born, their new collection was already awarded twice, winning a Red Dot and the IF Design Award 2022.

The eyewear collections of Nirvan Javan are inspired by metropoles from all over the world, and at Opti, the Swiss designer is proud to present his new “Shades of Toronto” style. Made by hand out of Japanese acetate, the new style tells the story of the most diverse city in the world.

“Diversity, our strength” is written in this city’s coat of arms, and green, blue, yellow, brown, black, and purple are the colours of diversity. These are bold frames, reminiscent of Toronto’s bold and striking architecture. Modern architecture and colourful diversity. It will be a Canadian summer.

Well not them personally, but the amazing eyewear that Stefan Flatscher and Uwe Pinhammer, the original creators of Freudenhaus are making these days, deserve just that spot!

At the Munich show, they invite you to a warm “Welcome back to the good old – brand new FHONE eyewear collection”. Driven by the ideas and values from 1991, to give great people even greater glasses.
