Laibach & York // The TEF Icon

“If you’re thinkin’ of being my brother, it don’t matter if you’re black or white”. That’s an iconic lyric from the old days for sure.

Talking about brothers though, I was pretty honoured when my “brother from another mother” Blaz Oberc contacted me about a tribute frame design, inspired by the iconic TEF logo, which is actually based on the shape of my big head, goatee and curly locks included.

Created from the popular “Amsterdam” shape by Laibach and York, which is actually my hometown, this double-layered acetate frame has an amazing fit and features an iconic top brow, resembling the TEF crest, which by itself represents the struggle to empower independent eyewear.
