TEFtalk // Unboxing Stoemp by THEO Eyewear

A cute little box arrived today at TEF HQ and inside was an even cuter little frame by Theo Eyewear. Check out the “Stoemp” from their Potatoes collection. Come to think of it, Stoemp sounds frighteningly similar to the Dutch word stamppot, which is a hearty dish that everyone likes. So come taste some!

When in doubt, go with theo potatoes

They are to everybody’s taste, come in delicious varieties and go with everything. The well-known POTATOES ACETATE family returns with its unique “flex-henge”. Cherished for its easy-to-wear frame, the family expands with brand new designs. The iconic formula receives a fresh alteration. The metal base is now unified with nylor. In combination with the circular design touch, the new family gains an unexpected twist to the design.

In 8 typical theo colours the POTATOES ACETATE family is to everybody’s taste. De models Stamppot, Stoemp, Mash, Trinxat, Colcannon en Potatismos remain unique by the wearer’s own secret ingredient: a one-of-a-kind personality.

About theo

Since 1987 theo has been testifying to the power of colour with nonconformist designs in endless colour combinations. A theo on your nose bridge means balancing an expressive and dynamic object that goes beyond its functional purpose. Whether one opts for a more sober design or a more dramatic design: each model has a playful twist.

A few years ago founder and father Wim Somers left the company to his three sons Mik, Jan and Toon. Meanwhile, the Belgian brand has grown into a leading label in the world of optics.
