WOF 2020 // Post Show Report

Although Team TEF had to cancel their visit, the 18th Wenzhou Int’l Optics Fair, China (WOF for short) was successfully held in Wenzhou Int’l Convention & Exhibition Center on September 18‐20.

WOF is today the leading international trade show in Asia for the entire optical industry. The 18th WOF has 5 exhibition halls with a scale of 30,200 square meters, more than 410 exhibitors and has attracted 20,000+ professional attendees.

Physical and virtual events

The 18 edition of WOF also set up a series of on‐site activities, such as Global Eyewear Design Display Area, Safety Goggles Display Area, Eyewear Live Stream Area, Overseas Buyers Online Matchmaking Meeting, etc. The organizer spared no effort to create a professional business negotiation and trade news exchange platform for the eyewear industry.

1. Global Eyewear Design Display Area & Safety Goggles Display Area
The original designers from Italy, Germany, Canada and other brands displayed their eyewear designs to present an international visual feast. Safety goggles companies played an important role in this epidemic to better protect the wearers and their families. In addition, the organizer had created a special area for WOF 2020 to pay tribute to the manufacturers of safety goggles, traders, distributors and all their employees.


2. Eyewear Live Stream Area
The organizer has invited an experienced live streamer to help exhibitors sell goods through live streaming. Creating one‐stop business matching platform and experience live stream + video + interactive sales.

3. Online Matchmaking Meeting
Online business matchmaking is one of the most powerful tools to break the barrier of space, connecting exhibitors and overseas buyers face to face online to make business talk. The business matchmaking allows pre‐registered visitors and exhibitors to pre‐schedule meetings online and then meet each other via zoom app. For the overseas buyers who can’t arrive at WOF 2020, that is where the business matchmaking meeting comes to the rescue
