Johann von Goisern // Colourful like a painting

One look alone is not enough to see the full extent of the multi-faceted nature behind this Johann von Goisern frame that Patricia is wearing today. We love the play on classic autumn colours and how their designer let nuances of local plants and fruits flow in like a colourful painting by famous artists.

The symbiosis of colours starts with contrasting but harmonising coral and blue, moves on to an exciting yellow, and ends with an autumnal orange that cooperates wonderfully with the final brown pattern. The highlight is the extravagant temple, which is broken by a round element in which yellow and coral come very close to each other, and which consists of a total of four colours that are unparalleled eye-catchers.

Each Johann von Goisern frame is a work of art in itself and one more reason for lovers of colours who dare to be different to show this to the world. Colours come into their own in every face, they skilfully underline it and put it in the limelight. So every Johann von Goisern is a painting for the face.

About Johann von Goisern

“Johann von Goisern” combines the first name of Johann Pomberger, the creative originator of the brand, and the location of our eyewear factory, Bad Goisern. Colloquially we simply call it “Goisern”.

The “real” Johann (von Goisern) was born in Bad Goisern in 1937 and the region and its people were very close to his heart. His professional career brought him into contact with optics again and again. In 1984 he finally set up his own business in the “production and processing of spectacle frames”. The family business he founded is now managed by the third generation and continues to hold on to the company location in Bad Goisern, making it one of the companies core values.

High-quality eyewear fashion doesn’t need to be boring – Johann was sure of that. And it can also come from Austria. These three characteristics – outstanding quality, exceptional design and the location of Bad Goisern – still make Johann von Goisern spectacle frames what they are today.
