Einstoffen // Mountains & Valleys Collection

This year’s fall collection by Einstoffen is here, and bear with us: we’re going to get a little existential. We were able to reflect a bit in these past few months. It seems we’ve all had our fair share of ups and downs. Mountains and valleys, if you will. Here’s to hoping we have all left the valley of bad times behind us – we’re ready to climb some new mountains this fall.

So, about that: Mountains & Valleys. It’s the name of our new collection. Is it symbolic? Sure, coronavirus, you’ve already got that part. But we chose the name for this season’s collection quite literally, too. Switzerland is basically an endless succession of mountains and valleys. We pretty much implemented the concept geographically. So this collection has been strongly inspired by mountaineering and the raw natural beauty of the Alps. The new collection has a lot of special characteristics: daring shapes and combinations, a clear focus on stability, micro-engravings with mountain flower motifs, and iconic classic mountaineering prints and mountain animals on our new shirts.

And yet, we aren’t only thinking about symbolism and our beautiful country with this collection. We’ve also been working pretty hard on some things that match our values – both as a company and as humans on the planet. Mountains and Valleys is our most sustainable collection yet. All our new t-shirts use only GOTS-certified organic cotton. All our textiles are produced in Turkey according to the highest international environmental and social standards: BSCI, SEDEX/SMETA, Oekotex, and OHSAS.

So that’s it. With this collection, we did the deep thinking, the heavy lifting, and the reimagining. Now your job is to have fun with it. Let’s climb new peaks together!
