Lara D’ // Architectural Elegance

Jenny is wearing the Elisea, an amazing frame design by Lara D’, featuring a negative space effect, by leaving openings between the laser-cut metal rim around the lens edge and the outer frame.

Playing with the contrasts and the architectural elegance of each structure is a thing Lara loves to do. Her collection is always innovative, transforming the frame into a unique expression, fashionable and perfectly original, while also offering a beautiful fit. The Steel Collection is working with metal in very thin layers and playing with them to create a sense of space.

The shapes – which include three styles for women and one for men draw on classic retro eyewear styles, trendy modified oval, square and multi-sided forms. Selecting striking single tones for each style – from white to neon pink and including classic gold burgundy and black – the frames stand out with a powerful expression.

Intriguingly different

The innovative style of Lara D’ is a perfect synthesis of colour and design. In the Combi Collection, where the designer works with acetate and metal, well defined angular shapes lend a fresh exciting mood to the latest range of eyewear. Statement patterned designs and single toned ‘pops of colour’ in 4mm acetate are combined with a lower metal rim and a stunning architectural ‘open’ effect between the lens and the acetate at the upper rim.

The fronts are finished off with a sleek, shiny metal temple and long narrowly sculpted acetate end tips. Creative and eye-catching, the frames have the effect of “framing the eyes”, and enhancing their beauty through the mix of special effects, original shapes and dynamic, playful colour contrasts. The collection now includes four glam Combi models for women and one Combi shape for men.
