Boston based model and optical retailer “Alissa Bourne” is wearing the Verona Limited Edition by Sospiri, which represents their interpretation of “East meets West” in Venice. The cultural fusion found in La Serenissima, or the Republic of Venice, gave way to an amazing production of luxury tapestries, textiles, and artwork which still today provide no shortage of inspiration for Sospiri.
Like one of the period’s rich brocades, Verona LE’s rich copper laserwork intricately provides the perfect underlay for over 230 crystals by Swarovksi® in complementing colors layered along a modern geometric shape. Mazzucchelli 1849 acetate is Sospiri’s material of choice for the smoothest and most polished finish. 50 pieces of this limited edition were made in a spectrum of 6 color variations.
The Sospiri® collection represents Ottica Veneta’s signature luxury line of optical and sun wear. From the mountains of northeastern Italy’s Veneto region, Sospiri was inspired as a tribute to the Venetian maestros of old and those craftsmen who follow the same artisanal methods today.
Through a rich intertwining of elegance and innovation, Sospiri frames are defined by their superior use of Swarovski crystals, light metals, Italian acetates, and unique artistic embellishments. With the guarantee that 100% of its frame, case and accessory production stay in Italy, Sospiri and Ottica Veneta are committed to using time-honored methods to create the most untraditional of models.
Sospiri is exclusively sold to a select number of fine opticians and boutiques from its U.S. headquarters throughout the world, with major distribution channels in North America, Asia, Eastern & Western Europe and the Middle East.
