Willems // Great German eyewear, since 1927!

A word from Eelke, our supermodel for this month:

I have been following Willems Eyewear since 2014, and yes: it was love at first sight. At first view, the frames seem quite plain. Metal with an occasional touch of acetate. However, if you take a better look, the stunning details put you in awe. Looking at the unique ear tips and the sophisticated nose pads on every single model, you come to the conclusion that the Willems design is very versatile. From lasered engravings to extraordinary shapes. Tiny, delicate rounds with a saddle nose or robust oversized models: Willems caters all tastes.


I happen to be quite fond of their annual cooperation with various designers. This year, Willems made a collection with Liv Berger. Neon colors and abstract shapes: a whole lot of nineties vibes. For this photoshoot I am wearing my all-time favourite: the Cahuilla Hills from the Liv Bergen collection.

In my opinion, Willems Eyewear is a must-have brand for opticians who want to distinguish themselves by supporting independent eyewear!


It has been an honor to work with this brand. I loved doing the photoshoot with these gorgeous frames commissioned by TEF Magazine and I enjoyed writing this text for Willems.
