Jasmin is triumphantly showing of this beautiful metal frame by Lara D’ with some cool negative space effect. Triumphantly cause she is happy to be outdoors after a long lock-down, but also while showing off her feminity with this beautiful frame design that is also available in 24kt gold and covered with white diamond powder on the top.
The frames in metal highlight my architectural style and are born out of consistent research to do things in new ways.
Also, acetate is a material for which Lara D’Alpaos has a particular fondness. She has become well known for her experimental work with the material, and her use of artisan applications which explore how the surface can be worked by hand. Here Jasmin is wearing her model “Kelly”, a beautiful laminated frame, which Mazzucchelli blocks were cutted in different thicknesses, creating a more 3 dimensional look. Super cool!
I have always had a great love for acetate as a frame material. There is something very beautiful about imagining new colour combinations for the face and I am passionate about using this material in different ways, layering the colours, or cutting sections away to create space and linear movement across the design.
